Rakó has so far served as co-head of the advisory business at KPMG Hungary.
Since joining KPMG in 1999, she has built extensive professional and leadership experience. She began her career in audit before moving into advisory and has been co-head of the advisory business since 2024.
Rakó has played a key role in building and bringing several important service areas to market, while supporting the company’s growth and continuous renewal.
Over the years, she has led and developed a number of specialist areas, ranging from financial risk management, accounting advisory and internal audit to sustainability, outsourcing services and artificial intelligence-related consulting.
Her broad professional and leadership experience was a key factor in her appointment as CEO during the regional succession process, KPMG said.
Rakó’s leadership approach has focused on quality, value- and performance-based decision-making and creating a culture of cooperation. She places particular emphasis on innovation, data-driven operations and digital transformation.
Over the past decade, she has also played a significant role in the company’s sustainability, responsibility and diversity initiatives. KPMG’s Diversity Working Group was established under her leadership, while she has supported the KPMG Responsible Society Program as an ambassador for several years.
In 2025, she received the Business Council for Sustainable Development in Hungary’s “For a Sustainable Future” award in the “Leading Woman” category.
“KPMG has achieved outstanding results in the Hungarian market in recent years, and I am proud of our company’s defining role and the position of the KPMG brand. This success has been built on trust, innovation capability, flexibility, expertise and cooperation. In the future, I will continue to work to create new growth opportunities with these values in mind and to support our clients at the highest professional level in addressing the challenges ahead of them. Our goal is to offer complex, comprehensive and personalized solutions for this,” said Ágnes Rakó, the new CEO of KPMG Hungary.
Rózsai, who is being promoted to a regional leadership role, joined KPMG Hungary as a graduate in 1997. He became head of the audit division in 2014 and has served as CEO of the company since 2019.
Rózsai is an active member of Hungary’s corporate and leadership community. He serves on the boards of the Joint Venture Association and the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum, where he also acts as a mentor.
Several KPMG initiatives linked to business ethics and corporate culture were launched under his leadership, including the Manager of the Year for Business Culture Special Award, established jointly by KPMG and the Hungarian Association of Executives, and the KPMG Fair Play Award connected to the Kékszalag sailing race.
In March 2026, Rózsai received the Budapest Business Journal CEO Community Award for his outstanding social and community activities.
