Károlyi Mansion completes HUF 200 mln visitor center

Károlyi Mansion, which now operates as a hotel in Fehérvárcsurgó in western Hungary, completed its visitor center for a cost of HUF 200 mln, with an EU grant covering HUF 98 mln of the total expenditure. The center is housed in a former washhouse.

László Holczinger of the regional development agency said the center is expected to attract more than 4,000 visitors annually.

The renovation of the central building was completed in September 2011. The renovation of the entire complex cost HUF 1.5 bln.
