N. Macedonia's Industrial Producer Prices Rise Further in August

North Macedonia's industrial producer prices increased by 25.8% year-on-year in August, after rising by 24.8% in July, the Skopje-based State Statistical Office (Makstat) said on Wednesday.

Producer prices jumped the most for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 51.5% (vs. 49% in July).

Industrial cost for manufacturing rose by 22% (vs. 21.2%) and advanced for mining and quarrying by 3.7% (vs. 3.6%).

On a monthly comparison basis, industrial producer prices rose 1.5% in August, the statistics agency said in a statement.
