The volume of industrial production was 5.4% lower than a year earlier, unchanged from the preliminary estimate, KSH says. On a seasonally and working-day adjusted basis, output fell 2% compared with October. The working-day adjusted index was identical to the unadjusted figure.
Production declined in the vast majority of manufacturing branches, which account for the overwhelming share of industrial activity.
Export-oriented output also weakened. Industrial export volumes fell 5.5% year on year. Within manufacturing exports, transport equipment — representing 28% of total manufacturing export sales — declined by 9.4%. By contrast, exports of computer, electronic and optical products, which account for an 18% share, rose by 16.6%.
Domestic demand remained particularly subdued. Industrial domestic sales dropped 8.0% compared with November 2024, while domestic sales of manufacturing fell 6.6%.
By subsector, manufacturing output — which represents 94% of total industrial production — declined by 5.7%. Output in mining and quarrying, a small-weight sector, plunged 11.8%, while production in the energy industry, including electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply, fell 2.1%.
