Bulgarian Industrial Output up in July
Bulgaria's industrial production grew by 17.7% year-on-year in July, following a revised annual increase at the same rate in June, the Sofia-based National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Friday, citing preliminary data.
The largest annual growth rate among the index components was again recorded in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector, where production went up by 51.7%.
In seasonally-adjusted monthly terms, industrial output inched up 0.9% in July after ticking down by 0.7% in June.
On month, utilities posted the most significant increase in output of 12.7%.
The only monthly decrease in output was recorded in the manufacturing sector, data showed.
