The analysis by OTP Mortgage Bank shows 7,900 new homes could be handed over in 2027. In 2024, 8,700 new homes were completed in Budapest.
OTP Mortgage Bank put the price of new home builds in the capital a little over HUF 1.7 million/sqm, on average, in 2025.
It added that prices could reach HUF 1.83 mln/sqm for handovers in 2027.
