Hungarian Parliament's budgetary committee will take the Buda-Cash scandal off the agenda with nine votes in support from governing-party MPs and five opposition votes against hearing a briefing on the matter during today's session, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.

Hungary’s economy minister Mihály Varga and central bank governor György Matolcsy were invited to the committee meeting on the occasion of the Buda-Cash hearing, however neither Matolcsy nor Varga were present, according to MTI’s report.

The scandal was also on the agenda of Parliament's economic committee for Monday morning, MTI said.
