The release comes almost a year after the announcement that Sziget had returned to Hungarian ownership. Since that change, the festival has sought to strengthen its distinctive position internationally while ensuring that Hungarian audiences also feel a closer connection to the event, organizers said.
That direction has included a renewed emphasis on Sziget’s roots and the sense of freedom that defines the festival, with the experience extending beyond its concert program.
According to organizers, the aftermovie captures that energy, offering this year’s visitors an opportunity to revisit the festival and giving those who missed it a taste of what to expect ahead of the 2027 edition.
