“We are planning to block the bridge until midnight or until we get arrested,” organizer Zoltán Büki told Index.
Büki had been planning to set up a blockade all around Hungary, and that event was originally scheduled for the beginning of March. But as his request for a permit for the protest was rejected by the Hungarian police many times, he abandoned the plan for a country-wide blockade and started organizing impromptu mini blockades.
