Almost 300,000 visited Hungexpo in first five months of 2016
Nearly 300,000 visited Hungexpo from January to May of this year, a 10% increase from the same period a year ago, the trade fair organizer said today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Exhibitor numbers were up by 15%, for a total of 2,530, MTI noted.
Hungexpo’s revenue was also up, at HUF 4.1 bln from January to May, or one-third above the average in the same periods during 2012-2014, MTI said.
So far in 2016, Hungexpo has hosted 16 events at its Budapest fairgrounds, MTI reported.
