At the same time, Gránit Bank also joined BACEE, which was founded in 1996 and now brings together 27 financial institutions from 15 countries.

“The BACEE membership and the vice-presidential appointment are important professional recognitions that open up new opportunities for Gránit Bank and Hungary in the financial and innovation landscape of the region. Our goal is to contribute our knowledge and digital banking experience to the development of the Central and Eastern European financial sector,” said Éva Hegedüs.

Listed on the Budapest Stock Exchange and providing cross-border banking services, Gránit Bank has been a member of BACEE since October 21, 2025.

The organization’s aim is to strengthen cooperation and professional relations among member banks in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as to promote knowledge sharing and the dissemination of best practices across the region.

For Gránit Bank, the membership opens new horizons in its international business relations and provides an opportunity to participate even more actively in the financial and innovation life of the region, the company tells the Budapest Business Journal.

Éva Hegedüs’s vice-presidential role further strengthens cooperation between the Hungarian banking system and one of the region’s leading professional financial communities, the bank added.
