At the Balaton Park Circuit in Balatonfőkajár, payments can be made via bank card, digital card, or with a HelloPay card, which can be obtained and loaded with cash on-site.
“It is an honor for us to be part of such a historic moment, when after 33 years Hungary can once again host one of the world’s most prestigious motorcycle racing series. We are committed to contributing with our modern, cashless payment solutions to ensuring that MotoGP is an unforgettable experience not only on the racetrack but at every point of service,” said Norbert Varga, CEO of HelloPay Zrt.
Cashless payments mean greater convenience, safety and shorter lines, especially at an event with tens of thousands of visitors. HelloPay Zrt. already provides quick and seamless payment solutions at numerous restaurants, fast food outlets, festival venues and events across the country through its innovative system.
During the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend, spectators will be able to pay only by bank card at the circuit’s hospitality venues. Those arriving with cash can exchange it for HelloPay cards at four top-up points.
Any remaining balance, along with the deposit fee, will be refunded if the cards are returned during the event. If not, the balance can still be used at other HelloPay-accepting locations.
“The return of MotoGP is not just a sporting event but a milestone in the history of Hungarian motorsport. As the domestic promoter, it is important for us that Hungary can play a decisive role in international motorsport in the long term, from nurturing young talent to mobility innovation. In this, our partner is HelloPay, known for its modern payment solutions, which has already proven itself at several large-scale events with its reliable technological background and innovative services. Our common goal is for MotoGP fans worldwide to enjoy the highest level of service,” said Szilvia Szondy, CEO of Humda Zrt.
