Opening in an exclusive store in Szervita Square, colorist experts will help guests find the shade that best suits their skin tone and style.
Custom lipsticks take 45-60 minutes to create and the end result is a fully personalized beauty product that can be re-ordered at any time.
"Years ago, during a shoot, my make-up artist simply couldn't find the perfect lipstick for my skin tone. At the time, she mixed up my own shade in a little jar, just for the shoot, and it felt so much like my own color that I asked her for it. Unfortunately, it ran out very quickly as she mixed it from small amounts of different lipsticks. That's when I had the idea of what if there was a way to make lipsticks for everyone's skin tone and type" said Szabina Tomán about how the idea came about.
"What makes a lipstick good is that the person who wears it feels like the color and texture is their own. This is very important. And what makes a lipstick really customized is the engraving. Everyone can choose the name of their own lipstick to put on the case. This is how we create the lipstick that will best reflect the guest" she added.
The customized lipsticks also have ingredients selected with particular attention. The products of the lipstick bar are strictly fragrance-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free, i.e. not tested on animals, and vegan. The final lipstick also has the added benefit of sustainability, the store says. The lipstick case is returnable and can be used to put new lipstick in it after disinfection. The ingredients used include aloe vera, argan oil, and cocoa butter, to ensure durability and comfortable wear.
The store opening also marks the start of a special collaboration. As one of her favorite travel destinations is Provence, Tomán is looking to take her guests on an imaginary journey to this magnificent region, the irresistible Côtes de Provence, where the unique wines of Château d'Esclans are produced. Guests of Lipbar by Toman will be able to make their lipstick sessions memorable via Whispering Angel, one of these Provence Rosés.
