The survey was undertaken among employee rolls at all corporations employing at least five, including some non-profit organizations.
KSH includes some 32 pages of graphs and charts breaking down the findings in an extensive report, but among the highlights is the reportage of an average monthly HUF 239,400 earned by full-time employees in the business sector, with average gross earnings up 3.3% in the sector year-on-year.
At non-profit institutions, average gross earnings increased 3.9% y.o.y. to HUF 206,600 monthly. Topping this table were those in financial/insurance activity, who earned an average HUF 485,100; IT/communications employees could count on an average HUF 432,600. Lowest on the table here were accommodation/food service workers, at HUF 145,600; those in social work averaged HUF 153,500 for the half-year.
Average net earnings, excluding family-related tax benefits, were reported at HUF 149,400 monthly overall; manual laborers averaged HUF 103,400 monthly, while white-collar workers averaged HUF 197,900. In the business sector, average net earnings grew by 4.9% y.o.y.
