Number of real estate transactions high in August
A total of 13,869 real estate transactions took place in August 2018, according to estimates by real estate agency Duna House. The August transaction number is similar to last yearʼs, but approximately 17% higher than the number of transactions in August 2016.
The amount of transactions in August 2018 is marginally down on the number in July 2018 (14,246), noted a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
The total number of 105,573 real estate transactions that took place in the first eight months of 2018 is higher than any equivalent year-to-date total between 2009 and 2013, it added.
