President: Paks is not a bicycle rack
Hungary’s President János Áder will sign legislation that makes the contracts on the expansion of Hungary’s sole nuclear power plant Paks classified, Hungarian online daily origo.hu reported today, citing the President’s announcement.
“A nuclear power plant is not a bicycle rack, therefore in our world which is threatened by terrorism, it is not only recommended but clearly necessary to protect and classify information regarding the building of a nuclear plant” the President said. He added that the classification does not violate Hungarian laws, nor the constitution.
