The share of Hungarians who have firm plans to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or have already received their first jab stands close to 68%, a weekly survey by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) shows.
The rate for the week ended May 16 is up from just 15% when KSH started conducting the surveys in the first week of December.
The latest survey shows 13% of Hungarians say they "may" get inoculated, while close to 16% say they won't get a jab.
Almost 89% of Hungarians between 65 and 74 say they plan to be vaccinated or have already received their first jab.
