Meanwhile, the minimum hourly rate is set to go up to PLN 27.70 (EUR 6.20) effective January 1 and PLN 28.10 (EUR 6.30) as of July 1, 2024, officials said.
The country's minimum monthly wage rose to PLN 3,490 at the start of this year, from PLN 3,010 at the end of 2022.
The average gross Polish monthly wage in June was PLN 7,335.2 (appr. EUR 1,639), the Central Statistical Office (GUS) agency announced last month.
