Meanwhile, sentiment increased among constructors (107.9 vs 103.7) and retailers (97.3 vs 95.6). A separate report from the Prague-based agency showed that the consumer confidence indicator in the Czech Republic fell to 98.4 in July compared to 101 in the previous month.

The number of respondents expecting a deterioration in the overall economic situation in the next twelve months saw a slight decline, while the number of consumers assessing their current financial situation worse than in the previous twelve months sharply increased.

At the same time, the number of respondents expecting a deterioration in their financial situation in the next twelve months fell marginally.
