Orbán to Meet With Scholz in Berlin

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin on Monday, the PM's press chief said, according to news agency MTI.

The chancellery announced the visit on Friday.

The sides will discuss European policy, bilateral ties, economic policy, and international topics, with the war in Ukraine and the latest related developments in the focus, deputy German government spokesman Wolfgang Büchner said.

Intensive negotiations with all EU and NATO partners are of priority importance for the German government, he added.
