Czech Republic gets 1st payment from EU COVID recovery fund
The European Commission Tuesday sent the Czech Republic its first payment from a special fund aimed at helping the continent's economies recover from the coronavirus crisis.
According to a report by Czech Radio, more than CZK 23.2 billion (EUR 909.9 million) is flowing from Brussels to Prague, the EU institution said on its website.
The Czech Republic will receive a total of CZK 180 billion in the coming years.
