Budapest to Get HUF 300 bln of EU Development Funding

Budapest will get HUF 300 billion of European Union funding for developments in the coming years, the Office of the Mayor said on Thursday, state news wire MTI reports.
Budapest will use HUF 178 bln of the funding for transportation developments, HUF 50 bln to upgrade public spaces, HUF 34 bln for enabling schemes, and HUF 38 bln for flood defense and water management.
Details of the developments will be announced in the coming weeks.
