Varga: Hungary remains attractive target for investment

Government

Minister of Finance Mihály Varga told a meeting of the country's ambassadors that the government is counting on their work to draw more investments to Hungary, according to TV news channel Hír TV.

Hungary remains one of the most attractive targets for investment in Europe, with its declining taxes, supportive environment for doing business, well-trained labor force and a high degree of security, Varga said.

He noted that, in spite of the coronavirus crisis, some HUF 2.5 trillion of investments had been announced in Hungary since early 2020. Every single investment is an important step toward bringing Hungary out of the crisis, he added.
