Parliament has upgraded government decree measures taken during the emergency to include teleworking, said Secretary of State for Employment Policy Sándor Bodó of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, according to business daily Világgazdaság.
Flexible regulation is one of the measures that has helped protect jobs and create new ones despite the epidemic, he said.
Bodó added that the regulation thus provides a wider range of opportunities for telework in the private sector than before.
With the increase in the minimum wage in January, the amount of compensation that can be paid to teleworkers without invoice-based billing will increase by a fifth.
