Advance Payments for Rural Developments Starting in Oct

Government

The distribution of direct subsidies and advance payments for specific rural development measures will begin on Oct. 16 this year, the Ministry of Agriculture announced in a statement yesterday, according to profitline.hu.

The ministry explained that the EU reform of the Common Agricultural Policy brought many changes this year, and compliance with the new regulations meant adaptation and administrative tasks on the part of the farmers.

This spring, the stakeholders were able to submit for the first time their claims regarding support titles announced under the new rules in the new system.

Given the numerous changes, recognition, and thanks go to the farmers, the agricultural chambers who help them, consultants, and others who contribute to the process, the ministry added.
