Another car convoy carries refugees as trains are halted
With trains from Hungary to Austria temporarily halted, a second convoy from Austria, consisting of 20 private cars, committed civil disobedience by picking up a group of refugees stranded in Győr train station and driving them to Vienna last night.

Some 66 refugees, who had spent a night in the train station, were transported by the convoy, which was organized on the internet by a charitable group according to reports. They were taken directly to Vienna, bypassing the crowds of refugees waiting for assistance near the Austrian border.
A similar caravan on Sunday carried about 500 refugees over the border.
The refugees were stranded in Győr after Austriaʼs train company, ÖBB, said it had to suspend rail traffic from Hungary due to congestion, apparently caused by the steady stream of refugees pouring over the border, according to reports.
