Hungarians plan multiple holiday trips this year
Most Hungarians are planning to spend a total of two to three weeks on holiday domestically, in hotels, getting to their destination by car this year, according to research by discount website Bónusz Brigád and research institute GKI Digital.
While 81% of respondents said they are planning to make an inland trip, some 58% are planning to travel to a non-neighboring European country this year, in addition to their domestic holiday. Half of those surveyed plan to enjoy their time off in a neighboring country.
According to the survey, 78% of respondents took multiple trips last year and intend to do the same in 2019. Bónusz Brigád says that some 73% of visitors on their website are actively looking for travel offers amongst its offers.
