Hungarian oil and gas company MOL is to raise its wholesale price of petrol by HUF 5 per liter from Wednesday, industry insiders told MTI on Monday.

The price of diesel remains unchanged at HUF 441 per litre.

As a result, prices at the pump will change to about HUF 451 a liter for petrol, a new historical high.

MOL last changed its vehicle fuel prices last week, raising the price of petrol by HUF 4 per liter and reducing the price of diesel by HUF 2 per liter.
