ÁKK sells HUF 49.5 bln of securities at auction, fraction over plan

The Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) sold a combined HUF 49.5 billion of securities at auction on Thursday, slightly more than planned, according to state news wire MTI.

The ÁKK sold HUF 45.0 bln of discount 12-month T-bills, raising its original offer by HUF 5.0 bln after dealers bid for HUF 89.4 bln of the papers. The average yield was 0.24%, 7 basis points over the secondary market benchmark and 12 bps higher than the yield at the previous auction of the bills two weeks earlier. 

The ÁKK also sold HUF 4.5 bln of five-year floating-rate bonds. The original offer was HUF 8.0 bln, but bids came to just HUF 4.5 bln.
