ÁKK sells HUF 22.5 bln of securities at auction, over plan

The Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) sold a combined HUF 22.5 billion of securities at auction on Thursday, HUF 2.5 bln more than its original offer, state news wire MTI reported.

The ÁKK sold HUF 15 bln of discount twelve-month T-bills, in line with its original offer. Primary dealers bid for HUF 26.77 bln of the papers. The average yield was 0.09%, 1 bp over the secondary market and 1 bp below the yield at the previous auction of the bills two weeks earlier.

The ÁKK also sold HUF 7.5 bln of five-year floating-rate bonds, HUF 2.5 bln more than its original offer after dealersʼ bids reached HUF 20.80 bln.
