Varga: Diminishing EU funds impacting health care developments
The reason public healthcare services will receive less central government funding in 2016 than in 2010 is twofold, Minister of Economy Mihály Varga said in an interview with RTL television yesterday evening.
One is the decreasing demographic trends, meaning that the population is decreasing each year by 40-45 thousand, and another is the end of a series of EU funds made available for healthcare developments between 2007-2013.
