More than 27,000 new COVID cases registered over last 3 days

Some 27,209 new COVID cases were registered in Hungary between Friday and Sunday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,025,697 according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

A total of 392 patients died between November 19 and 21, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 33,172.

The number of recovered patients rose to 847,992, while the number of active cases stands at 144,533.

Some 6,451 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 649 of them require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,024,568, of whom 5,794,499 have already received their second vaccination. About 1.834 million people have already received their third vaccination.
