Last Gábor Baross Scheme Top-up Contracts Signed

The last contracts for subsidized corporate credit from a HUF 200 billion top-up of the Gábor Baross Reindustrialization Program have been signed, Magyar Eximbank said last week.

According to novekedes.hu, the contracts included 114 for close to HUF 165 bln of investment credit and 814 for almost HUF 40 bln of leasing credit.

About 93% of the contracts were for euro loans.

Around 48% of the credit went to SMEs.

The credit was available with rates capped at 5% for forint loans and 3% for euro loans. The Gábor Baross Reindustrialization Program was launched in February 2023.
