Croatia Inflation Rate Steady in February

Croatia's annual inflation rate stood at 4.1% in February, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (Crostat) said on Friday citing preliminary estimates.
In February, prices of food, beverages, and tobacco rose by 5.5% year-on-year. Service costs increased by 6.4%, industrial non-food products (excluding energy) saw a 2.5% rise, while energy prices grew 0.4%.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.2% in February, rebounding from 0.4% drop in the previous month.
Measured by the EU-harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP), prices of goods and services for personal consumption increased by an average 4.8% year-on-year in February.
On a monthly comparison basis, HICP rose by an estimated 0.3% in February.
