Construction output volume up 12.3% y.o.y. in November

The volume of construction output in November 2021 surpassed the previous year’s level by 12.3% according to raw data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

Output rose in both main groups of construction: by 11.6% in the construction of buildings and by 14.8% in civil engineering.

Output in the divisions of construction went up by 28.4% in the construction of buildings, and by 13.8% in civil engineering. Specialized construction activities increased by 2.2% compared to the previous year.

The volume of new contracts concluded lessened by 50%, within it the volume of new contracts for the construction of buildings was 41.5% lower and the volume regarding civil engineering decreased by 58.1% in relation to the November 2020 base.

The volume of the end-of-November stock of contracts at construction enterprises was 6.7% below the previous year's level. The volume of contracts was down by 7.8% for the construction of buildings and by 6% for civil engineering, year-on-year.

In January-November 2021, construction output rose by 11.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.
