Bosnia Avg Net Monthly Salary up in December

The average net monthly salary in Bosnia and Herzegovina stood at BAM 1,297 (EUR 663) in December, up by a real 6.6% on an annual comparison basis, and lower by a real 0.3% compared to November, the Sarajevo-based Agency for Statistics of BiH (BHAS) said on Monday.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage rose by 9.0% year-on-year and fell by 0.5% month-on-month in December. The average net monthly salary in real terms rose 6.1% on the year in 2023.
The average gross monthly salary was BAM 2,004 in December, 7.1% higher on the year in real terms.
In the whole of 2023, the average gross salary in real terms rose 6.5% year-on-year.
