Ad spending in Hungary grows 20% in 2021

Spending on advertising in Hungary climbed 20% to HUF 305 billion last year, the Hungarian Advertising Association (MRSZ) said on Thursday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Spending by local advertisers reached HUF 203 bln.

Spending on TV ads increased 17% to HUF 75bn.

In the case of outdoor ads, spending rose by 20% to HUF 25 bln.

Spending on communications increased 24% to HUF 524 bln last year.
