6,804 new COVID cases registered in Hungary

Some 6,804 new coronavirus cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 892,164, according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.
A total of 83 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 31,184.
The number of recovered patients rose to 804,720, while the number of active cases stands at 56,260.
Some 3,629 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 366 of them require ventilation.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 5,967,747, of whom 5,748,682 have already received their second vaccination. About 1.315 million people have already received their third vaccination.
