4,588 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

Some 4,588 new coronavirus cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 914,586, according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

A total of 123 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 31,521.

The number of recovered patients rose to 811,266, while the number of active cases stands at 71,799.

Some 4,522 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 452 of them require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 5,977,908, of whom 5,757,501 have already received their second vaccination. About 1.397 million people have already received their third vaccination.
