2,361 new COVID cases registered in Hungary

Some 2,361 new coronavirus cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 841,277, according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

A total of 20 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 30,468.

The number of recovered patients rose to 793,288, while the number of active cases stands at 17,521.

Some 1,105 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 155 of them require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 5,932,239, of whom 5,710,977 have already received their second vaccination. About 1.056 million people have already received their third vaccination.
