1,628 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

The number of active coronavirus cases in Hungary stands at 81,976, with 1,628 new cases and 103 new deaths registered since yesterday, according to data by government coronavirus information site koronavirus.gov.hu.
The death toll stands at 14,450.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 407,274 up from 405,646 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 310,848.
Currently, 4,582 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 396 of whom are on ventilators.
So far 3,528,862 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 26,549 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 76,075. Pest County is the second most affected, with 51,444 cases, followed by Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County (23,164 cases).
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 41,667.
Until now, 457,096 people have been vaccinated, and 205,720 of them have already received the second dose as well.
