The consumer prices decreased mainly for food & non-alcoholic beverages (18.9% vs 21.7% in May), housing & utilities (9.7% vs 10.9%) and furnishings, household equipment & maintenance (11.3% vs 11.6%).
Moreover, prices fell further for transport (-5.1% vs -3.3%), due to lower fuel costs.
On a monthly comparison basis, the CPI went up 0.2%, following a 0.1% decrease in May.
