It was the sixth consecutive month of falling industrial activity, though at a more moderate pace.

Production decreased for mining & quarrying (-19.4% vs -33.4% in January) and manufacturing (-8.7% vs -5.6%), but it rebounded for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (5% vs -10.7%).

On a monthly basis, industrial production rose by 3.4% in February, following an upwardly revised 22.8% drop in the prior month.
