In the first half of 2026, GDP was 1.7% higher than a year earlier, according to both raw and adjusted data.

Industry continued to make a positive contribution to economic growth, while agriculture acted as a drag.

Services were the main driver of the expansion, particularly professional, scientific and technical activities, as well as administrative and support services.
