He said that the program has been helping improve the everyday life of people living in small settlements for years, with transportation and local services, building roads, medical clinics, playgrounds, supporting small shops, and village community events.
As a result, the population of Hungarian villages is increasing.
All settlements with less than 5,000 people could move forward through the program, and the amount of government support granted exceeded HUF 1 trillion, Gyopáros explained.
