The forint was trading at 313.57 to the euro at 5.45pm on Thursdayʼs interbank market, softening from 313.28 late on Wednesday. The forint softened to 280.71 from 280.65 against the dollar. The forint traded at 287.65 to the Swiss franc, gaining from 287.69. The forint weakened Thursday morning against all three of the major foreign currencies but then started to recover early in the afternoon. By early evening it had moderated loses and was close to the level it had been Wednesday evening.
