Courier recruitment up during epidemic, programmers still sought after

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic, most people in Budapest have applied as couriers, cleaners or shop assistants, while programming and development remains the most sought-after profession for job posters, writes business daily Világgazdaság.
In a recent analysis by profession.hu, the job portal examined what were the most sought-after professions in Budapest and in each region before the coronavirus crisis and during each wave.
In the countryside, workers and machine operators who trained during the second and third waves of the coronavirus were most sought after, while among job seekers, the positions of data logger and regional representatives were the most popular.
