Poland’s April gross wage growth accelerates
Poland’s gross wages grew by more-than-expected 3% in April from the previous year, faster than the 1.6% increase seen in March, data published by the Central Statistical Office showed Monday. Meanwhile, gross wages fell by 0.1% month-on-month. Nonetheless, the rate of decline was smaller than a 0.9% drop forecast by economists.
