Hungary Trade Surplus at EUR 1 bln in October

Hungary's external trade in goods surplus amounted to EUR 1 billion, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

The value of exports amounted to EUR 12.8 bln, and that of imports to EUR 11.7 bln.

Compared to a year earlier the value of exports increased by 1.2%, and that of imports lessened by 13% in EUR terms.

The share of the EU Member States was 77% in exports and 70% in imports.

Compared to September 2023, the level of exports decreased by 0.6%, while import level grew by 1.9% higher.
