Deficit on external trade in goods reaches EUR 503 mln in Mar

Hungary's deficit on external trade in goods stood at EUR 503 million in March 2022, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

The value of exports amounted to EUR 12.12 bln and that of imports to EUR 12.623 bln.

The share of EU Member States was 78% in exports and 72% in imports.

Compared to March 2021, the value of exports increased by 8.7% and that of imports by 23% in EUR terms. The balance of external trade in goods deteriorated by EUR 1.4 billion.

Compared to February 2022, the level of goods exports rose by 5.4% and that of goods imports by 8.7%.
